Dog Licenses

Please be a responsible pet owner and license your Dog each year from January 1st to December 31st., and to avoid any late fees register your Dog by April 1st if they are 5 months or older. 

Currently, there are a few new things to be aware of:

1. We have switched to a new program and all owner and rabies information will need to be re-entered, so be sure to bring us Proof of Rabies Certificate complete with the Rabies manufacturer, date of vaccination, rabies serial number, and rabies expiration date.

2. New Dog Ordinance No. 2023-609, states that no family or person can harbor or keep more than 5 dogs, and any more than that you will need to possess a kennel License with a limit of 10 dogs.

3. Section 6.04 of the Village Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:

"At large means to be off the premises of the owner and not under the control of some person by leash. A dog or cat within an automobile of its owner, or in an automobile of any other person with the consent of the owner of said dog or cat, shall be deemed to be upon the owner's premises. Dogs may be unleashed within the fenced area of any dog park within the Village."
