Clerk/Treasurer

The Village Clerk and Treasurer offices are combined within the Village of Poynette.  The staff works together to carry out the duties of both responsibilities. 

The Clerk's office responsibilities include: administering elections; preparation of agendas, minutes and packets; maintaining Village records such as documents and legislative actions; issuing licenses and permits; and all other duties as prescribed by the State of Wisconsin.

The Treasurer's office responsibilities include: taking in monies, issuing payments and utility billing; maintain Village bookkeeping and accounting; administering employee payroll and benefits; and all other duties as prescribed by the State of Wisconsin.
