Alcohol Beverage Licenses

The State of Wisconsin authorizes municipalities to issue various licenses for the sale of alcohol beverages.  The regulation of alcohol beverages can be found within Chapter 125 of the Wisconsin State Statutes and Title IV Chapter 1 Section 1.01 of Village of Poynette Code of Ordinances.  It is the responsibility of applicants to understand the rules and regulations of alcohol beverages.  The issuance of an alcohol license is a privilege granted by the Village of Poynette Board of Trustees.

To ensure efficient processing of your application it is recommended to contact Village staff for consultation prior to filling out and submitting forms.
