Inspection fees are dependent upon the type and extent of work that’s going to be completed. However, it’s always best to first have a conversation with the building inspector to better understand the fee structure that might apply to your project.
The Village’s building inspection services are based entirely on a user fee system. Essentially, if you use the service you pay for it, as opposed to all of the Village’s taxpayers picking up the cost of the service.
