Community Tips & Concerns
Did you know that citizens in the community are considered "the eyes and ears" for the police?
Tip Line
Police officers cannot be everywhere at any given time, so as a result, police rely on citizens to advise them of suspicious situations or activity they observe. For this purpose, a tip line has been created at the Poynette Police Department where citizens can report anything from criminal activity to noise or junk ordinance issues.
Anonymity
At your request, the source for information you provide can remain anonymous.
Using the Tip Line
Citizens need only contact the Police Department by phone at 608-635-2588 or they can even email the Police Department if they prefer.
Emergencies/Crimes In Progress
For all emergencies or crimes in progress, call 911.
